Pigs do travel. Come on if a hunters worried about his dog getting hurt he might want to consider another way of hog hunting. I mean what would of happened if the guy that cut his ears left the pig a gun also. Not trying to b an ass but that happens everywhere. I've caught many of pigs with no ears. Just makes the game interesting for me to see if my dogs r able to catch hogs with no ears. And they've proved to me they can.
I always worry that I might not bring one of my dogs home. My dogs are my family does that mean I shouldn't hunt?. For a person to intentionally cut off a hogs ear out of spite to kill a mans/woman's dog it bull #2. Man up and deal with the person face to face. Since I can remember we've only caught one hog with both ears missing.
