Along with most of the stuff on that list I also keep a copy of this book in my med kit: Field Guide: Dog First Aid Emergency Care for the Hunting, Working, and Outdoor Dog Just as important, if not more, than what is in your kit is knowing how to respond to the different scenarios you may run into. I had to resort to a tourniquet about 5 weeks ago when nothing else was working and then had to deal with shock setting in. Had I not known the steps to take, I would have lost my catch dog.
