Peachcreek you are right every place hunts different hogs bay and hogs run some run far some run short. Rcd can't do much of anything if they ain't in front of the hog and no dog can do anything if they run and can't stay with em but speed and gritt can make a difference. A good dog should do fair in any condition but a little expirance and common sence will tell ya don't take a big heavy dog to wide open country or a slow dog where they run some dogs might flip the scrip but know what your dog can do and knowing your terrain sure helps. I have always wanted to hunt down that far just anit made it
