    yes you have to tag them , I don't care what anybody tells you   lol  you tell them it's a homemade trailer and they will ask you how much weight the trailer is and how much it will haul  [ approximate ] .   and the old you don't need lights and tags on a farm trailer  blah blah blah  is faulse .  when you get pulled over by the DPS  they will school you on it while writing out about 5 different tickets  .
