Use to coon hunt ALOT with treeing walkers. We just casted them out ,listened to the track and waited on them to tree. Wouldnt let them get more and 5 or 6 hundred yards out without heading in there direction. I never wanted to be a mile or 2 away when they finally treed. I always like a short hunt but my coon dog would go as far as he needed.
