My CD is 2 years old and has 3 of his canines chipped off pretty good. Never lost a hog with him. I agree with cantexduck that a dog catches with his rear teeth not his front. A CD shouldnt lose a hog if he is caught, unless he gets knocked off by a tree or gets hung up. Every good CD has missed a hog at least once, thats different, but when he catches he better stay caught.
