Only one I am familiar with is the Carnathan blood.
Know they come rough with some red influence. The ones I have been in the timber with hunted decent and were stable on game, coon, cows and hogs. Wouldn't be afraid to try one again. My personal preference is to stay completely away from the Foundation dogs........just never been impressed in any way other than looks on those. (My opinion only).
I tend to put more attention into a dog that had been bred in a closer family of dogs by one or two people that have liked minds on breeding. I also pay heavy attention to their Cull practices.
Papered dogs with four generations and twelve different owners of each dog tells me that there typically is no uniformity in the breeding practices.
Just my two cents bud......and usually isn't worth that much!
