My dog also went back to nocturnal nailor. As far a "lipper bred" dogs, that is such a huge name that the percentage of dogs with alot of lipper in them is pretty high. They have been crossed with so many dogs (big and small) that sizes will vary. I believe my dog was so big because he was directly off wild card and deanwoods hali. Both of them were decent sized dogs. Theres a ton of information online regarding the lipper dogs. You might start with a google search of house's lipper. I believe he was the original lipper dog. Also the color will most likely vary from dog to dog. Like i said that lipper blood has been bred into an incredible about of dogs all over the place. The fella that owned wild card(cant remember his name) prided his self on having "black and white" pups with little to no brown on them. In fact one of his stud dog adds with ukc said something like "its so simple, its in black and white" or something like that. Maybe someone else will chime in with some better help than i can offer. But i wpuld suggest looking at the build and the way the sire and dam of the pup hunt and make your decision from there. If you do a search with google or a UKC website i think you'll be shocked at all the times you see a lipper dog. I say try it out and if you dont like it give it to a coon hunter before its to old to do anything with ..good luck to ya sir !!
