lol, the amount of culls folks are ATTEMPTING to sell makes me laugh.............. The ridiculous part of this is the amount of culls that are actually BOUGHT! a little research will go A LONG WAYS when looking into prospective dogs like others have mentioned. In my opinion the ONLY sure fire way to stay in good dogs is to hunt and befriend guys with good dogs...... the rest is easy, put in a little time/work and before you know it you will have good dogs yourself.
I think the single most influential reason folks buy up so many culls is due to the "I want it NOW" syndrome........ most folks don't want to nor are they willing to wait and work with young dogs to mold them into good dogs, they just want "jammed up, solid finished dogs
" right here right now and they are blind to the fact that some folks aren't honest and will sell anything off the side of the road as a "jammed up, solid finished dog" on the internet..........
Since I started workin pups more and more I honestly almost enjoy working them more than actually going hunting.......its really enjoyable to watch a pup grow up and eventually click and turn into something down the road to me.
