Reuben I've just recently got a small spot and I've been taken my 1 1/2 year old male out there once a week I believe he struck something last week but couldn't stop it he was all over the place I never heard any barking he was gone for more then hour. My gps would say treed but every time would head that way he would start moving. I've been pretty happy with how he's hunting in the last few weeks. Seems to be picking it up. I had got worried that he was depending on the other dogs to strike hogs. Before I got my spot I was only going out once a month with my buddy but like you said they need to be out there to get better. Hopefully we get something soon.
