I let my catch dogs be RCDs. I require them to catch and hold. No DA. Athletic. Smart. Use their nose, some.
Good wind. Leggy is preferred but if I have one that's shorter (I raise them) I will put them with a leggy dog. I prefer my dogs 45-60lbs depending on Gender.
Break stick them off. Calm after a dead hog.
