bad thing with live traps in the wild, anything can get in there. i was trapping for coons to train a hound on and instead of a coon, i got a skunk. even the coon i did catch, he rubbed a hand raw i guess trying to get out or something. well it got infected and he chewed it off and died a couple days after chewing it off. he lived about 2 wks and he even had a BIG cage to live in, but wasn't content evidently. maybe lining the trap with hardware cloth will prevent the coon from tearing their hand up. but i don't know for sure. but ill agree with the southern yankie, if you really want a coon, trapping one will be the best bet, then u got the ability to catch ever how many you want. then when you get the end result of whatever you wanted the coon for, you'll know that lil extra step in catching it yourself helped achieve your end goal

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!
