Dang, I hope you Find the dog. Weren't you just bragging on him in another post? Check Craigslist,  maybe someone scooped hin up thinking he was lost and will do the right thing and try and find the owner. Did he have a name plate on with your number on it? Those have saved my tail (no pun intended) many times. Specially when I  ran hounds , they would go for miles and miles.Good luck with finding him.
