as a youngster I hunted 4 to 5 dogs...I fed them what they caught but only after we got home...usually a rabbit per dog and a whole one...just pulled a little fur off the rabbit and tossed one to each dog...and Yes...they get a balanced diet when they it the whole rabbit...
did you ever have a dog that wont eat raw meat? I have a couple that wont touch the stuff, ones a young dog, the other one I tried to force him to eat it and he didnt eat for four days so I gave in, I almost culled him for it but hes making a good dog so far.
