you could put him on a 50' lead and call him in them shock him on a low setting continous as you pull him in, and stop when he is in your hands, he will learn pretty quick that he doesnt get shocked when hes in your hands, some dogs need more voltage than others and, it may make him more untrusting til he figures it out then he should be fine, but I would still keep him in a kennel or a long lead til its set in stone
