Thanks Guy. lol Actually I think I am breeding away from those super rough dogs. Losing 2 or 3 young dogs every year just has no appeal to me. I have hog hunted since I was a teenager, before tracking systems & boy have we had changes in hogs & the way we hunt. In the old days we had strictly feral hogs & open woods. Most hogs bayed up pretty quick altho, once in awhile we would get on a runner. In the early 70's we had a importation of Eurasion Boar introduced. By the 80's they were clear cutting every block of woods around. I remember when I got my 1st 3 wheeler, a Honda big Red 185 & thought that was the cat's meow. About the same time I got telemetry. Started running Plotts on bear & with my curs for the running hogs. Always had a good line of curs that could get the job done. Now a days, I don't care if I catch a hog or not but I do love to hear a race. After too many horse injuries to count, I am a lot slower then I used to be. lol
