If your marshes are like ours.  There isnt anything solid enough to support a horse or atv of any sort.  It is like walking on a trampoline at best if you can stay up on the grass.  Get off the grass roots and you will be crotch deep in mud w/ a quickness. :

Nah it was hard enough back there to run cattle on, and I think a few people keep rodeo bulls back there still. It's mainly Gulf Cordgrass and tallow tree motts last time I was back there.
