If you can't snare them you should still be able to trap them. I have seen a coon trap that would work for you, they are hand cuff traps. You dig shallow holes in the ground put corn on the bottom and this hand cuff trap on top of the corn. Get you about 4 or 5 and start arresting the bandits. Not sure of the price but I'm sure you have spent there cost in corn already. Good Luck
