During typical winter months here in AR hogs move good in the day time. During summer months they move more at night. Don't be fooled to think they don't move in the day even during the hottest months. If you have enough water they will move just not as often or as far. I hunted more at night prior to my 4yr old starting to join me and we caught pigs. With her going day time is just more conducive to a good hunt all the way around. We still catch plenty in the winter and during summer it's kinda hit and mis. Either way what works for you works for you. Just have fun and let them dogs run.
