I always hear guys say it's hard to catch in those planted pines what makes it so hard vs thick briars yopoons black lokus blood weed cane and so on. Hogs run hard every where I never hunted in pine rows maybe I am missing something

Lotta the planted pines when they get 3-7 year range are bad rough you usually cannot walk through them at all usually have to lay down or attempt to back through them it's taken 30 minutes to get 100 yards before in some of them the briars go from your feet to over head high and your lucky to find a rabbit trail. Once they get past that age the undergrowth starts to get smothered out and die off and it's not nearly as bad. Dang hogs will run circles in it get a little ahead of a dog and just wait dog finally gets close they'll just go a little farther.
