I only do in the summer months when Mosquitos are out, I'll give them 1 cc of ivomec in the hip and a week later give 3cc of pyrantel poamate I get from revival animal supply, next month I'll draw up 1cc in a syringe and fill the rest up with water and give orally, I alternate the two methods along with the PP, I do this from around june to September . It's the same ingredients as Iverhart, in December I'll give them quest plus (moxidectin) It only takes a LITTLE usually about the size of a pencil eraser. In order to prevent worms you need to prevent the source, keeping your dogs and their areas clean is a big help. Controlling fleas and Mosquitos is one of the best things you can do far as prevention.
