I think you are correct. But different people use different terms and so on. But to me a long range dog stretches out pretty far just looking for something to do. Hell I don't know what my dogs are. Sometimes there 1 to 200 yard foot warmers . And other times there out 6 or 800 yards before they get one lined out. I guess it just depends on what they feel like doing that day.
