I had one break a back leg, Im guessing from getting it tangled. I "chicken winged" it and she made a full recovery. Put her back in the pen, and when feeding one day I noticed her front leg slip between the gate and latch post. I had to react quick to slip it out because she started flipping out. She limped for a bit then was fine, but I see it as an ongoing issue. So Id have to agree with Mike, and also say that it could be what I mentioned above.
