sound slike he is gonna pull through it ....that's good .... my poncho dog got his guts pushed out of the lineing but still in the hide just a hole in his hide with a big buble under it ....but anyway the vet put him to sleep I guess cause I told him he would bite   ... before I got hom ethey called and said he had died ....I really believe it was  being put to sleep that done it ....I have  sewed  up lots  of dogs blowing air but the guts  scared  me and  he was a sure nuff hogdog and scared me to do it myself .....I wish I would have  had  your  vet  may still have  poncho ....

Larry...I had an up and comer pup that was really doing great...we caught a big boar in a dry creek with high banks and he got a bad cut and had a muscle hanging out...I took him to the vet in hopes of the muscle getting sewn back on...he lost quite a bit of blood so I let him drink all the water he wanted...that was a big mistake...he was put to sleep for the operation and he drowned in his own fluids...the lesson there is it is best to keep the water low and no feed until he is awake after an operation...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
