I'm afraid the more we get away from the breeds true purpose the more you'll see this and the ones who are breeding good stock are growing more and more reclusive every year. Like Rednose said, and I don't mean to ruffle any feathers but sometimes truth hurts but you can thank blue dogs for that, when anything becomes a novelty and profit is thought of before performance you see a rapid decline in quality, nothing against females but I've always hauled males to the woods but with the way it's getting I've been lurking around and keeping my eyes open for good solid game bred females just to tuck back for brood stock and cross them over males that are a bit cooler that I haul hunting solely for my own use so I know what I'm feeding and going in behind...
