i also agree on not seeing much of what i would call apbts in normal life today. heck my own daughter owns one of the modern day pet bulls and he sure is not cut out to be a hog dog much less a fightin dog due to his physical abilities or lack of. it used to be so easy to find a decent bulldog anywhere. free adults and pups from free to 100 bucks and if you spent 100 bucks you probably got a real bulldog. and hog hunters typically dont want to pay anything for a bulldog especially a pup. so that makes it kinda useless for someone to work at breeding them except for their own use so that limits number of them available to the public. a good friend of mine casey couturrier was watchdog kennels and focused on blue apbts. now those were still workin dogs and even some were pit tested. mitch alison won a heck of alot of the catch comps in texas with one of caseys bule pits. but todays pet bulls /american bullys have eb, ab and who knows what else in them and arent bred to be workin dogs at all.
