I have had pens for years first a 50 acre pen now 300 acre pen ...they work well to start dogs if you don't over due it ......but my advise is if a pig gets alittle ruffed up get it out or pen it for a while cause if not you will get on it everytime you go in there ........ hey sometimes it easier to hunt on the outside of a pen ....people used to tell me if my dog don't find a hog in that 50 acres i'll kill him I say don't bring a gun with you hahahahaha ........ but to tune dogs up and get one on pigs a pen is good ...... good luck with the pen .....had lots of good times in mine .....
