 I use Josh Whites, only had 2 in 10 yrs bc they last forever, the newer one I got only weighs as much as a coke can/water proof etc and was cheaper than the duncan Aus brand. Basically not penetrable either.

Compared to US style vests there much more convenient IMO b/c its all one piece breast plate and collar and only 3 buckles, quick and easy with a buckle on the bottom for hooding etc

That said I use a typical lead in scott bred AB for my 1* cd not staggs etc, but when I used his measurements on his site I just made it more US/ lead in style going back behind the shoulder further than the plate etc to get the best of both worlds ( light weight, cooler, does not restrict motion, jumping etc)  and he has been good at making them custom for lead ins as well as the straight aussie style - had several friends use his gear with same opinion as mine. If Josh couldnt do it check out Duncan or Paul T Gardens.
