The one we had that happen to was a pet afterwards bc it messed up his depth perception and he would break bays way more frequently than before, seemed worse at night but he was never the same in the woods despite still seeming normal around the yard and still catching some when we had nothing else, Id still test it and see you never know seems I remember another kid saying his was ok after a car hit his cd and hurt his eye/glassed over
