She will be started on cows but ultimately hunt hogs. The starting on cows thing is my uncles method. Gets a handle on dogs and teaches them how to really work a animal rather than just stand there and bark at em. Get a few dogs that really know how to work and bay and you can get sounders bayed more often than a few dogs that just show up and hammer down on one hog. Atleast that's how I figure it

I'm assuming you don't hunt places that have cows on them... Just my opinion, but if the dog needs to be started in cows to learn how to work you should probably be feeding different dogs. My cowdogs get started on cows and my hogdogs get started on hogs that's just how I do it and it works for me and everyone else I know. I hope your way works out for you and you don't end up with hogdogs that trash on cows...
