Well TMatt there's 3 hunting clubs that join. Ten Mile, Gum Slough and South Jasper all of which are full of dog hunters and have been for the last 25+ years. Then the next club over is Little Prarie I believe which kinda just got started. So they get a hog jumped he rolls into little prarie and the dogs come trailing across the pipeline and he blast her. His reasoning was that they don't allow dog hunting in their club also the shooter tried to take another dog after he shot 1 so this hunting club hero is a dog thief and a dog killer the 2 most lowdown disgracful names that a man could be labeled .... As far as the man that got the dog shot he needs no courage from any iron he may carry and would give most men in their prime a good run for their money he let his temper get the better of him in a situation any man with pride would've been tested in.. It's sheer principle to me... Kill my dog you will have to answer for it regardless of the situation. I've personally never been put in that predicament but given I was hopefully my raising and the man upstairs would let me make the right decision rather than what I would want to do.
