06-26-09 Hunt TOO HOT ! ! !

I got farmers howling and throwing fits at me right now but like I told them it is just way passed too hot and my dogs are at high risk of heat stroke and heat exhustion and it dont take much if a bad boar gets loose on a long run with dogs that won't quit a hog and because of all of them wearing catch vest and heavy duty bay vest. I myself have just shut the hog hunting down till it cools off just a little bit anyway . If the farmers want to put up a 5000.00 security depsoit in case I loose a couple of dogs and help pay for the vet bills then things might be differnt and I still dont think I would do it because I care about my dogs to much but we as hunters are the ones that are out all the heartacke hard work and vet bills so the way I see it they can just wait are put up the cash to help us out are take the loss on the corn . Last week it was 109-108-107-105 and we have broken records all week long. I'm glad your dogs came out ok keep them cool..................... JMO
