Hunt his tail off with as many dfferent dogs and situations as possible. If he has it in him he will come around. My male started off fast, then really slacked off at about 13-18 months old and now he is starting come around really nice. I've been told sometimes lacy's mature more slowly than other cur breeds and start to mature around 2 years old. From what I've seen with my dog I tend to agree.
