A RANT ABOUT THE MORALS AND CULTURE THESE DAYS

We were talking about this just over the weekend. Who’s going to be in charge of us in 30-40 years when we’re pushing 70-80?? These human culls that can’t tie their own shoes without wanting a paycheck or a parade for it. We did meet a very nice man a few weeks ago who’s “ old school” -makes a deal on a handshake- to buy a feeder from him the next day. No money exchanged until we showed up, and we ended up buying some other stuff from him as well. Sometimes it’s hard to hold a person to their word, because I’m sure a lot of us have been jerked around, but it’s also kind of difficult to NOT take folks at their word when you yourself consider a word and/or handshake a done deal. Like y’all have said, good character is almost a lost form...... whether it’s dogs, feeders, or anything.
