I'm sending the sheriff to your house today and he's charging you with cruel and unusual punishment of shocking a Plott off a bear haha. You needn't be concerned about treeing or baying a bear from a safety standpoint as uninjured black bear almost never attack a hunter with dogs on them. They will sometimes come down the tree when you walk in but it is to get away, not get you, as Cajun mentioned it is the same with a bayed bear. there are hilarious stories about guys getting ran over by a bear that is leaving a bay where more than one man was approaching from different angles. I would not send a catchdog to them, even though it "might" work part time it would cost you the catchdog pretty soon.
I don’t know if the sheriff would believe me but I didn’t want to run the bear worst than the bear wanted to be ran. Lol. The Dogo would do his part but I don’t think it would go easy me trying to legg him. Thanks for the tips fellers
