On crossing.... personally, I like the way my foxy greyhound works. If its something she thinks she can handle, she catches. Too much and she bays. I know she's delicate and she is also a pet. That would make for a dangerous combination if she were stupid rough. Personally, I feel like a straight up greyhound does her job. She gets there fast, slows the hog, and keeps herself out of a bind until the other cur dogs show up. Most of the time, foxy is released after the cur dogs are already getting smoked. I am wanting to run them in pairs. The two should be able to hold one for the seconds it takes the cur dogs to catch up.
I think chris is wanting to cross some for bull hounds or dogo crosses. I can see the advantages of that too, but I doubt you should get too attached to a bull hound.
