I like turning bigger hogs out with a couple legs tied, like a hay string between a front and back leg... tun him loose, and let him get a bigger head start each time.  This way the dogs still have to sit him down to bay, and you're gonna build the dog's confidence(most important part IMO) that he can find and stop a big hog by himself.  I'll even do this with older dogs that might need a "pep talk" Wink

Thats the same thing that ive done when i didnt have a finished dog.
