The humidity is for sure bad! It’s like you almost have to swim through it because it’s so thick. It’s definitely one of my main concerns. I watch the dogs extremely close because I don’t want to take any unnecessary chances of over heating them. I don’t ever NOT run a vest, but when we pulled up to the dogs baying this little boar hog in a pond, as soon as we decided he wasn’t a big risk, I sent ole Apollo without a vest. The other saving grace is that it’s so wet around here that there’s a water puddle, over flowing ponds, full creeks, and full banks rivers anywhere you turn around here. It’s supposed to start raining again in the next day or so I believe. I’m sure our farmers are ready for it to stop. Tornadoes have hit some of the crop land pretty hard over around Rogers and Temple, Tx which is just about 40-50 miles from us. If this next rain is very substantial, the rivers will likely be out of banks and do more crop damage. These lakes are having to release so much water that it doesn’t take a lot of rain to make a huge difference.
I hope you Florida folks are all good. I know the lower end has been getting hit pretty hard.
