I heard that, we use to do it back in the day before hoghunting became such a popular sport, my uncle still wont have a dog unless it goes both ways, but like you said, its all more serious these days and the land owners run you off their land if your dogs mess with the cows and they find out... with large ranches and land getting more scarce being on their good side and not runnin their cattle thru the fence will keep you huntin in more spots... Except for a very few fortunate folks the good old days are long gone
