Mine is chipped as well. Though I've heard a lot of stories about the chips migrating and shelters not picking them up because they are in the dogs butt or chest or something instead of the back of their neck. That's one reason I'm seriously considering a unique freeze brand. At the very least maybe it would prove I really want my dog back and prompt them to search a little harder for the 2 million lost ads I'd put up
