Obama will speak to YOUR Kids... Did you know?

The original lesson plan from the Depertment of Education involved having the students write an essay on how they can help President Obama. THAT is political Matt and Julie. Due to the outrage of concerned parents across the country, the lesson plan is being changed. Public schools, who are funded by OUR tax money, have no business exposing our to children to political propoganda from ANY President. Part of my outrage was my kids' school planning on airing this address without informing us. That is hogwash. The role of parents in choosing a future for our children is being eroded and I will not stand for it. Ever. Politics, ethics, morality, religion, etc. should remain the sole responsibility of the parents to teach. That is worth fighting for to me.
