Gravel pens are really hard to clean they stink when dogs urinate on them, wood is great but after awhile it starts to rote and stink due to urine, and dirt pens are a no no because thats the #1 flea habitat. I just build 3 sets of pens 10x30 each and poured concrete slabs for all of them, it cost me around 1300 for the slabs to be formed and poured!!!
