took em out and the first drag we did was bout 60 yards bout 30 yards of it they could see it being drug and the rest they couldn't see it. well they took off and went right by where we turned off and it was like someone through on the e-brake and then they turned around and dropped there heads and took the track. took em bout 5 min or so but they found it and bayed til we got there. zypher my short chunky dog has been catchin when ever we tell him to so i decided to give it a try and sure enough i said get'em zyph and he wasn't lettin go for nothin. the second time we pulled the hog we made sure the dogs were outta sight for the whole thing. this drag was bout 70 or 80 yards with a couple turns in it.. this was just for laughs to see if they could find it. well when we cut em loose the went back into where they had bayed the hog for the first time and when they couldn't find em all noses hit the ground and the chase was on. we eased the mule down towards the creek and stopped to listen and sure enough we heard dogs bayin. got there and gave zephyr tha "get'em" and it was another one for tha books. tha third one we did was prolly 80 yards and it was pretty curvy. they all dropped there heads and off they went.. i tell you what its a good feeling for your dogs to start like this.. this was there frist time to ever try and follow a trail and i couldn't of ask for them to do any better.
