Ya, I read this article as well. The article states that in order to prevent it to make sure all open wounds are covered up and kept away from the blood. It also suggest to wear gloves when cleaning a hog. THe symptoms are severe and it does say that it does not leave your system. It was in the Houston Chronicle if anyone wants to read it online. Just FYI.
