I have gone to just chains. It runs from the corner behind the drivers side,,, to the back drivers side,,, across in fromt of the tailgate,,, and back up behind the passenger side. It can hold four cur dogs across the back and and two bulldogs in the front corners.

I really like it because I can see the dogs when we are driving and I don't have to take a box in and out of my truck to go to work the next day.
