Yeah he's pretty catchy, were going to start taking him out in the woods and see what he does, he's pretty hyper and active and listens also when he wants to catch I tell him to ease up and he backs off a bit. My father had a chocolate lab some 25+ years back. As a matter of fact my grandpa from my mothers side was just asking him today “what ever happened to that chocolate lab you had that could catch fish?” Lol my dad says he could sick that dog on anything and he would catch it. Someone stole the dog from him. He still gets choked up talking about it lol. Thanks for sharing your experiences hog hunting with labs.
I'm going to work these pups in the pen again and then start staging hunts.
