Don't get me wrong... I wasn't really criticizing just asking if there isn't a place for a few simple safety precautions... that's all. All the feedback I've gotten is that Waurika went great and everyone had a good time! If I could find someone to enter a dog with I'd enter one of mine on a two dog entry there... it's whole lot closer to me than most other bay trails!

Stuff happens... like with that dog getting into the holding pen, something sort of similar has happened at Bremond before. They even have a chute (like a foyer) so the dog would actually have to slip past 2 different gates to get to all the hogs. Once in a while a dog has slipped into the chute with a hog despite the spring loaded gate and the best efforts of the staff to prevent it... like I said, stuff happens, there's only so much you can do to prevent accidents without being ridiculous about it.

It just seems to me that if you're not going to dub the hogs, then you should require cut collars on all dogs at the very least. I think I'd rather see the hogs dubbed, but that's just my own preference.
