I have two boys, age 14 and 10, that hunt with me on about 75% of my hunts.  They help tend the dogs at home and each have a pup of their own that we are going to start this winter.  They both listen vary well to whatever they are told to do by me or Paul, and will do whatever needs done.  The oldest is big enough to handle my catch dog, and knows when to cut her loose, but always asks before he does it.  We have also taken several of their friends with us many times.
