Give the gyp 15 cc of calcium gluconate twice a day and also mix 5cc of penicillin and 5 cc of calcium in a syringe and inject half intramuscular (in the muscle) and half sub-q ( under the skin) everyday.  try to massage the bag all you can to help break-up the hardened milk.  Also pull feed completely off of her for a couple of days then give her a hand full a day and gradually build her up.  This will reduce the amount of milk she can produce if she is not eating.  The calcium will help ger rid of mastitis or milk fever.  The dog will only be able to absord and use some much calcium.  its better to give her several doses throughout the day but if you cant do the 15cc 2-3 times a day.  She should get over it within 3-4 days unless it is REALLY BAD right now. ( such as her bag already rupturing).  Hope this helps
