Nice hog, do you just sit and wait for the hogs to come out or do your dogs go find them?

my dog smells the pigs out sometimes but i mostly see them run out in front of me and i let my dog off and he gets them about 400 metres in the bush he can smell a hog out from about 2 kilometres away.
